Erich Geiger
Resident District Manager

Erich comes to The University of Chicago from Texas. Erich originally joined ARAMARK in 1989, and has spent time at Harding University, Oklahome Baptist University,  Washington University in St. Louis & the University of Houston.  He served in many different roles, from Chef to Asst. Food Service Director to FSD (Food Service Director.)  He also served as FSD since 1999 at Univeristy of Texas San Antonio.  As RDM, Erich is in charge of all of the Dining Operations on Campus, including the three dining halls, Hutchinson Commons Food Court and the C-Shop, the Maroon Market, and Classic Fare Catering.

Mike Mesenbrink
Director of Operations

Mike recently joined Campus Dining Services as the Director of Operations. He worked as both the Operations Director at Loyola University for nearly 2 years and as Retail Operations Director for 5 years at Central Michigan University.  Mike obtained his BS Degree in Business from MSU and also his MBA from CMU, and has been with ARAMARK for over 12 years.  He has also attended Culinary School at Ecole Hotelliere in Lussanne,  Switzerland.

Krystal Franklin, Director of Marketing

Krystal joined ARAMARK in 2003, previously working as a freelance marketing professional. As Director of Marketing, Krystal oversees the Marketing, Promotional, and Advertisement plans for all Dining Halls and Retail Operations. Other responsibilities include handling all Media Relations and serving as the Campus Dining Webmaster.  She is a certified graphic designer and holds a BA in English from the University of Illinois-Urbana. Krystal is currently pursuing her Master's in Marketing Communications from Northwestern University.

Mynor Rivera
Executive Chef - Bartlett Commons 

Chef Mynor Rivera brings over 17 years of experience to the University of Chicago.  In 1992, he graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York (the same place Rocco DiSpirito from television's "The Restaurant!")  He has served as both an Executive Chef / Chef Monitor and as General Manager for numerous restaurants in the downtown Chicago area.  Chef Rivera recently joined the University of Chicago Dining Services Team in April, and has since been insuring that only the highest quality and best variety of foods are offered on campus.  Mynor heads up the Bartlett Culinary team and also helps develop campus recipes and menus.

Jason Mojica
Food Service Director (Burton-Judson Dining Commons)

Jason has been in food service since 1990. He graduated from The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago. Upon finishing his degree, he spent some time as a chef. Jason started at The University of Chicago in September of 1998 as a Supervisor, and was promoted in January 2000 to Assistant Food Service Director. In December of 2000, Jason became Food Service Director of Pierce Commons. He is an active member of the Campus Dining Culinary Team and helps develop and create new menus for the campus.

Greg Taylor
Supervisor (Maroon Market)

Greg Taylor, Supervisor at the Maroon Market, brings a great deal of customer service and hospitality experience. New to ARAMARK as of October 2002, Greg oversees and maintains day-to-day store operations. He brings a variety of retail expertise from working as a Manager at  Food Stuffs, a gourmet Deli in Glencoe.  Greg is currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in HTM and Business from Roosevelt College.

Marcelle Taylor
Assistant Food Service Director, Pierce

Marcelle comes to the University of Chicago with 11 years of experience. He worked in ARAMARK Business Dining Services until July 2000, when he joined the Campus Services Team. He has held such positions as Food Service Director and Catering Manager in Business Services before being appointed Catering Director here at U of C. Marcelle received a BS degree in Hospitality & Business from the University of Indianapolis, and frequents many catering seminars.

Leonard Tham Food Service Director (Hutch & C-Shop)

Leonard joined the University of Chicago Campus Dining in Fall 2004. His experience as a food & beverage director and 11 years in food service make him a great addition to the campus dining community. Leonard has worked internationally, from Hong Kong to France to Los Angeles, honing his skills in hotels and catering events worldwide. Leonard holds a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from California State Polytechnic University.
